[Well. Katsu looks at least a little chipper. He's got a Santa hat on with a big red bow stuck on the front.]

[He also has a very badly cut paper snowflke in his hands.]

So, I'm wondering. What holidays does everyone celebrate here in the winter? I know we have a lot of people from different worlds... I'm just wondering what the celebrations are like in each of them.

People get together with those closest to them and speak of the year that has passed, usually over a dinner. At midnight, we light a candle and pray for our hopes for the new year. There are gifts given, but only to those you want to thank for their care during the year that has passed. It is not so obligatory as Christmas gifts seem to be.

Christmas in my world is usually more of a shopping holiday than anything else, it seems.

I've come to notice that. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, though. People certainly enjoy giving and receiving gifts!

They do. It's a nice way to show someone that you care.
