[Okay, so he's not the most tech-savvy person. This is why he's managed to roll onto his SFC and knock it to the floor, turning it on, before flopping back on the bed. Katsu is visible on the bed, half-draping off of it.]

... I should just leave him alone for now.

[His thought bubble shows Naoya, looking pissed off, and he looks up at it, trying once again to pop it.]

That's really annoying.

[He sighs, and winces as white text floats up in it.]

'I love him, but he's such an idiot. Then again, I am too.'

Stop that.

'I'm supposed to carry out God's will but I'm just a tool, aren't I?

I said stop it.

[Katsu swats at it, sending it flying, but it just floats back towards him.]

'I won't even admit it out loud. I just lie and tell people it's fine.'

When I figure out who made these...

'I'm just making things worse.'

[He's not even looking anymore, finally noticing the SFC.]

'Hey, is that on?'

[He crosses the room, reaches down, and turns it off.]

[His expression is sad, but his thought bubble is mostly quiet.]

Katsu-kun...Are you alright?

I'm fine.

'I don't want anyone to worry about me.'

[He swats the thought bubble away again.]

[A nod, then.]

I take it your talk with Naoya-san didn't go well?

['Of course we worry. We're your friends.

...I'm not surprised, though.' And flashes of Naoya's smug face and his tone when he spoke to Minato-- '"Little Messiah"']

[He shakes his head.]

['You're an anomaly, and if you get in my way here or anywhere else, I will have no choice but to wipe you from the board.']

[Katsu pinches the bridge of his nose. Ugh...]

['Is it so wrong to just want my brother to care about me as much as I care about him?']

[He tilts his head.]

No...it isn't wrong. But you know, he might be so angry because he cares that much.

[Because...Minato got a good reading on Naoya when he spoke with him, and he thinks-- 'It's hurt more than anger, isn't it? Or maybe a mix of both.']

He doesn't act like he cares a lot of the time.

['But he's always been like that...']

Again, it might be up to your to bridge that gap. He doesn't seem like the sort to show that he cares.

[/deadpan]

I know, I know.

['I'd be happier that we're able to bicker if it didn't involve such a high risk of someone getting stabbed.']

...Yes, that would be a good start.

He seemed to listen to reason if not provoked, though. Maybe it's just a matter of time.

It might be. Either way, I'm not going to see him until this [waves at the thought bubble] goes away.

['It's hard enough to keep my thoughts to myself without this.']

That's a good idea. It would give you both some time to think things over, too.

Yeah. I think I'm going to just spend some time trying to relax... maybe I'll take out a few books from the library or something.

I haven't gotten to explore the library as much as I'd like to.

I will. But I'm not going to look up mythology... I need a break from that. Maybe I can find a manga store too.

[Blink. 'Mythology-- That sounds familiar']
